India offers up great food, colourful garb, wonderful people and captivating history among other things.
I am sharing some of the scenes I captured which show snippets of different parts of Indian I experienced on my sojourn there.
Delhi is full on with its mass of people busily going about their lives. I enjoyed strolling around and people watching even as they watched me. I was also fascinated and learned quite a bit from talking to some people whose path I crossed.
The summer heat can be somewhat unbearable so one needs to dress in cotton garments – of which there are many on sale for good prices. Shopping is quite the treat especially if you are a lover of colour garments. These add to the rich scenes in India as you see in some of the pictures.
A great way to get from place to place is via overnight trains but ensure you get private ‘cabins’ for your safety. It’s nice to sit and wash the scenery as you pass by and don’t be surprised to see someone doing his ir her business in the bushes LOL.
Visit if you can; you will be culturally richer. The rich scenes everywhere keeps you spellbound and for architectural lovers you will be sated.
